Today we are going to Switzerland to meet up with our friends that we met in New Zealand. The way we met them was that they had the same camper van as us. It was the walkabout and I went over to ask them if they wanted to play Uno with me and they said yes. They had a girl named Enola and a boy named Lenny. The mom and dad were named Petra and Wolfgang. We had such a great time with them. They wanted us to come and stay with them so that is were we are going.
They live in a small village that is sounded by mountains. Petra gave us the tour of the house while Enola and I went to use google translation to talk to each other. We had spagetthi for dinner and stayed up tell 12:00 pm and then we went to bed. I was sleeping in Enola’s bed and Lenny was sleeping with Wolfgang and Petra. Then Kai was sleeping in Lenny’s bed and mom and dad had there own bed.
The next day we got up and we watched some German t.v. Then we had some very good breakfast. There was a lot of good cheese and Petra made us an egg too. It was cooked perfectly. There was also other stuff but the thing I like the most was the cracking of the egg. So what you would do is put an egg cracker over the top part of the egg. You would lift up and let go and it would fall. You would do that 2 times and then it would be ready to cut open with a knife. It was so cool.
That day it was our first full day there so we just stayed at the house and played. We had a great lunch and dinner. On the 6 of December in Switzerland they all go out and go to meet Santa!!!! So we went with them. After a bit Santa came and everybody got their turn to talk to him. Then he called up Kai and I, we were so surprised. So we went up and he asked us if we wanted to tell him anything and we said nothing because we were nerves!!!!!!!!!!!! Kai and I got 2 big chocolate bars. Mom and dad also went to see santa and they got the egg cracker thing that we loved!!!!!!!
The next day I went to school with Enola. We went for half a day. It was a fun day because they only had 2 classes then they got to go swimming for the rest of the day!!!!!!!! This fun day only happens 6 times in the year at their school.
The next day I went horseback riding with Enola . We got to ride a Indian horse. It was very pretty. I also went to gymnastics with Enola. Were they went to gymnastics was at a gym and they did rings not bars. It was very cool to see how they do gymnastic. We also visited Petra’s mother and father. They lived right down the street from were we were. The next day i stayed at the house and it snowed so Lenny and I went to play in the snow and go sledding!!!!!!! Then Kai came out to sled with us and we made a jump that we went off with the sleds. We got so much air of the ground. That night we played lots of fun games that we did not know before. Then the next day we had to leave. So that was sad. But we had a great 5 days with them and we are going to go back there again I hope. I also hope they come to Canada to visit.
That is it 4 now.

WOW Vea, looks like you had a great time visiting your friends!!! Check out the air you caught on your sled!!! Sadly there is no snow here in Halifax yet….but I’m sure that will change as soon as you get home! Maybe you can teach us some of those games when you come for dinner THIS FRIDAY!!!!
