I want to tell you about our days in Paris. I have always wanted to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower and now I get to go and see it!!!!
The first day we got there we went to our apartment. After we checked it out we went to pick up Malia from the bus station. She was coming to meet us from London and spent a couple of days with us in Paris. I was so excited to see her! We got to the bus station and we were looking for her bus, then we heard her bus name over the speaker. We gave her big hugs and went back to our place. We got settled in and had something to eat. It was late so we chatted and then we went to bed. Malia and I shared a room and Kai was sleeping with the cats on the couch and mom and dad had there own room.
The next morning we went out to town for the day. We went to the Notre Dame first. It was soooo big. We got to take a tour through it. When we were going through it we got to see the people in the church and we got to hear them sing. It was so cool and it was so beautiful in there. There was high ceilings and candles were lit up.
When we were done that we walked around town a bit. Then we found a grocery store and we bought a couple of thing for a picnic. We went to the Eiffel Tower and it was so big. If you looked at it at the very top it looked like it was moving. With the food we bought we said let’s have a picnic by the Eiffel Tower!!!!!! It was a nice picnic we had a salad and some drinks with some other stuff too.
After the nice lunch we went to see how long the line was to go up the Eiffel Tower and it was about a 5 hour wait. We went back the next morning instead to see it because it was a Monday and we thought the line won’t be as big.
Then we got up early and went to the Eiffel Tower. It was not as big but it was about a 1 hour wait. We went up the elevator to where the gift store was. Then we had to wait in one more line to get up to the very top. That line was about a 1 hour wait too. We got up to the top and it was sooooo high up. You could see the hole city from there, and the city is really big. It was fenced in because it was really high up and I don’t think anybody would like to fall from up there.
After the amazing trip to the Eiffel Tower we had a nice snack in the sun. We ordered 2 crepes, one was sugar and the other was Nutella. They were really good. Then Malia had to go back to school in London so we went to the train station with her and we said good bye and she was off. We had a great time in Paris and all the time we were there it was sunny so we had very nice days too and very nice trips to the city.

What a nice share Vea, I realized I was smiling the entire time I read it…but it also made me really miss you and Malia!!!! Im so glad you got to see the Eiffle Tower! Did your Dad tell you about the Bungy Jumping company that he and I bungied with in NZ…well, the same people got caught bungy jumping off the Eiffle Tower!!! Can you believe it!!!

oohhhhhh La La!!! I LOVE PARIS!!!! We have been to Paris 3 times and I have never gone up in the Eiffel Tower! We have had lunch in the park just like you did, and walked all around, but we have not gone all the way to the top before. Paris is an amazing city you will have to go back. What great fun to see Malia for a couple of days. Soon you will be back home with all your friends and family. Today it is one month to CHRISTMAS!! See you real soon!! Can’t wait to see where you go next!
