Today I am going to tell you about what Barcelona was like ……………

We arrived at our place by car from southern France. Our place is fifteen minutes by metro into town and is right beside this amazing church called the Sagrada Família. The first day we went to the church and inside of it. It literally looked like a fantasy. It blew my mind about what it looked like and that it is still not finished being built until 2025. The next day we went for a fantastic run to a massive park called Park Güell that displays some of the famous architecture of Antonio Gaudi.

The temperature is so nice in Barcelona because it is still hot enough to go to the beach but there is still a nice breeze that comes by. When we got back from the park we had some schooling then we went to one of the most amazing things ever. We went to a Barcelona Football game in a stadium that holds 100,000 people called “Camp Nou”. It is home to the amazing FC Barcelona.

We went to the mega store before the game so that I could get my Barcelona kit (I was in my happy spot there). After that we went to get some dinner at Pans. Pans is a restaurant that serves a sandwich called a Bocadillo de Tortilla which is an omelette with potato inside a Baguette. It is so good! Then we headed to the stadium to find our seats. When we got to our seats I was so so so so so happy because we could see the players so well and I was just amazed that we were there. After about one hour all the people started to come, it was like a 100,000 people just came at that moment because half the seats were not yet filled. When the game started there was really 100,000 people there. It was such a good game and Barcelona should have won but Celta De Vigo put one in before them and they were very very lucky. It was so cool.

Throughout the rest of the week we went down to the beach and played soccer, we went shopping and had some great tapas! The last day was thunder and lightning so we stayed inside and did some schooling. We also decided to try and make a Bocadillo de tortilla. We all helped out in the kitchen and we were able to make it. It was the best omelette I have ever had! Here is a link to the recipe to the Bocadillo de tortilla.

That was our amazing week in Barcelona.

Soccer with 100,000 people. Wow Kai!!! Was it loud? I did not see the link for the Bocadillo de tortilla, but I am searching for it now. I do love the old churches in Europe, they are so beautiful and huge and how did they building them way back then? Sagrada Família is a new construction and not finished yet? I guess it still take a very long time to build those amazing churches. Your first pictures is that of the ceiling of the church? Waiting for your next Klog! It is one month to CHRISTMAS!!!!! See you real soon.
