We are in Thailand right now and we are going to visit a hill tribe school. Their school was high up in the mountains. It was a 10 kilometre road to get up there and we were on a tiny tiny little road. They were getting homework checked by their teacher when we got there.

Kai and I made 20 loom band bracelets to give them. They loved the bracelets. In the class room they had to take off their shoes to go inside the class. It was a different class room but some things were the same. Where they eat is not inside it is out side with a nice view of Chiang Mai city. The top of the roof was made out of leaves. It was cool. When we were looking at the class room we saw that they have there own little cup with a tooth brush in it. It was funny. Mom started to teach them how to count to 10 in english and the ABC too. They learn how to speak Arabic and Thai. Nobody can drink tap water here so they had a huge container of water. There was kids playing outside too. Some girls were playing a skipping game with a big rubber band. It was a fun and funny day at the school.

That is it for now.

A Vlog from Vea. Vea + blog = VLOG.

Wonderful story, Vea. In the photos all of the chairs for the desks seem to be put up. Was school in session? Do the kids live at the school?
Grandma is still asleep, but I will show this to her as soon as she wakes up.

Hi Vea, It looked like you had great fun at school. You are learning so much on your trip. It has been a while since I have read your Vlog. The summer is getting busy back home. Sunshine, swimming and campfires and bbqs. Great idea about making the bracelets for the kids. Can’t wait to see what is next.
    Hugs for everyone!
    Marcia 🙂
