Today I am going to tell you about my first Baseball game in Japan …
On the way to the stadium it was poring down rain and in Japan they do not play in the rain so people were saying there would be no game. After about five minutes on the train it started to clear up so people were saying the game is on. We arrived at the stadium and it started to rain again so we were hoping that the game would still be on. Then we found our seats and they were not covered so they were very wet but I bought a poncho and it came down to my feet so I was fine but Dad on the other hand was only half under the umbrella and he got very wet.
Our tickets were the cheap ones so we were in left outfield without any overhead cover from the rain. The game started and the Buffaloes were up for bat. Just before the player swung a band started to play and all the fans started to sing chants. Then the Tigers were up for bat and the same thing happened. In the 5th inning the Tigers were winning and Dad and I went to go get some food. When we got back they were still in the lead. There were beer girls, running around the stadium with a back pack of beer. In the seventh inning they had pretty much won so we decided to leave a bit early so we could beat the crowds.
It was one of the most liveliest sporting events I have ever been to.
That’s it 4 now.
