I met 2 girls in Japan and they are 6 and 8 years old. Their names are Alysha and Kayla.
The day before we went to a restaurant for sushi. After dinner we went to the playground it was so fun because there was a slide with rollers. Then the next day we all went to a big park. We had lunch there, played games and stuff like that. There was also this river down a small rock that we went on and it was really slippery. Kayla kept on falling on the rock. There was about 5 playgrounds and lots of other stuff that we could do too.
After the park we went to have dinner together. I got the kids noodle meal and it came with a toy. I got a rubicks cube. After dinner it broke in a lot of pieces. Then we had to go home and do home work. I said bye see you in 2 days. Because we had to do something but mom and dad will tell you about that one. It was some fun 2 days that we had. When I see them again I am going to finish the loom bands with them that we started.
So that is it 4 now.

My step-daughter, Jill, taught in Japan (Sonora) for 3 years and fell in love with the country and it’s people. Two of her students came to stay with her last year and she took them to Banff. They love Canada now and hope to come back here as much as Jill would love to go back to Japan! Keep writing Vea it’s fun to read about your travels! Mary

Hi Vea, and also to Kai and your Mom & Dad,
Nice to read about your adventures in Japan. Todd (our oldest son) and I went there in 1992 with about 14 students and 3 chaperones to Shuzenji, which is a sister city of Nelson. We were there for 12 days, I think, it was very fascinating. We stayed with a family that had two kids close in age to Todd. They have both been to Nelson as well. It was quite a wonderful experience.
This week, Shay has been visiting Bobby and I have had a few chances to visit with her. What a nice gal, and lots of fun. We went to the stretch class that I go to and she quite enjoyed it. Bobby is doing quite well and this weekend her daughter Jody is visiting as well, so nice for her. Shay came over one morning and gave Mary Larry a scratch and hug, just for you Vea. Mary Larry is doing great, loving the nice weather we have been having. The other day she brought us a snake onto the patio door mat. Reid was able to pick it up in the dust pan and throw it over the bank before she ate it!!
Thanks for the wonderful posts. Take care and enjoy it all, and safe travels.
Love Linda, Reid and Mary Larry (purr, purr).
