Today I went horse back riding for my first time!!! So we got in the car and went to her house. It was about 10 minutes away from we are staying . When we got there we saw all of the horses running around. There were white ones black ones and brown ones. I got a white one name Gerald. I got my boots and helmet and then we went to the sand to start of. She taught me how to steer the horse. To turn left or right you had to kick the horse softly to the way that you want to go then you loosen the reigns and pull out the way that you wanted to go and while you were doing that you had to twist your body that way too. After a bit of that I got to do some trotting. So she told me when the horse was trotting you have to go up and down. Stand up then sit down. You were only sitting down for one second and stand up for one second. Then the horse started to trot and it was fun and funny to go up and down because when you fell back a bit you would stay down and start to go bump, bump, bump. At the end of the class I got to make a letter number or a shape. I picked a V for Vea. Then when we were bringing Gerald back in I got to feed him a sugar cube. It was so fun I want to do it again when I get back home.

Today we also did a run to the golf field and we saw so many kangaroos. It was so funny the way that they hopped. Then we also saw 2 boxing. It was funny. They were kicking and hitting but then at one point they stopped and they came running at us it was scary but also cool that we got chased by a kangaroo. I think that dad got too close to take a picture and that is what made them angry to chase us. So it was a funny morning that we had.

That is it 4 now.

Hi Anne how are you? Australia is nice. But i would not want to try to ride a kangaroo they hop to fast and i would not want to get in the middle of fight with them.

My Dad bought me my first pony when I was 3 years old and I rode/competed until I was 16. Reading your Vlog made me happy remembering those times. Gerald looks like a kind, gentle horse.

You are doing an excellent job with your blog and the pictures are beautiful. Your learning more now than you would ever learn in a classroom. Keep up the good work and enjoy every moment. 🙂
