Today was my 12th birthday and this is what we did……………
Well first of all my birthday was in Hawaii so It was going to be good even if we did not do anything. So my Dad, Tony and I went out to pine trees for an early morning surf. When we got to pine trees we sat and watched the waves for a bit and they were great, then we hoped in to the water. We paddled to the outside and when we got out there were some big sets coming – but we all got over them. The first wave I paddled for I caught it and it was a great wave. I turned to the right of the wave and as it was about to break I pulled off of it so I did not fall. We were in the water for about an hour but before we got out my Dad and I rode the same wave in! It was a great way to start off my birthday.

The next thing we did was go to lava java for breakfast and presents !! As I sat down at the table Jaida and Vea put a candy Lei on my neck. We orderd some juice and just after the juice came the waitress came out with a cinnamon bun with a candle in it for me. All of us ate the cinnamon bun in five minutes and it was very good. After we ordered our breakfast the first present came out. The presents just kept coming and coming, one of the things I got was a quick silver tank top, a Kadama witch is a really cool Hawaiian game, and lots of candy.

After breakfast we went back home and swam in the pool with the new goggles I got. Then we got ready to go play a soccer game and to go to the beach. There was nobody at the field and there were two nets lined up. The teams were Dad, Jaida and I, and the other team was Mom and Aunty Beth. My team won but it was a close game, it could have gone ether way.

The very last thing we did was go to Kua Bay with the Baker family. I was out in the water the whole time. When I was boogie boarding I made it to the out side but when a big big wave came I would have to throw the boogie board over the wave because I could not bring it under. For dinner we had pizza and salad and for dessert we had a great key lime pie.
It was a birthday I will never forget !!
